Lactic Acid 10% + Hyaluronic Acid is a mild alpha hydroxy acid solution that provides gentle yet effective exfoliation that targets the skin’s surface. It is powered by pure Tasmanian Pepperberry Extract, which has been shown to reduce irritation and sensitivity that can be associated with acid use. This water-based serum is ideal for dry and sensitive skin. The pH of this formula is around 3.8. Lactic Acid has a pKa of 3.8 and pKa is the most important aspect to consider in an acid formula. pKa means acid availability. When pKa is close to pH, there is an ideal balance between salt and acidity, increasing the effectiveness of the acid and reducing irritation.
It is applied once daily, preferably in the evening.
The formula can be diluted with other products to reduce the strength until the skin gets used to it.
Do not use on sensitive, peeling or damaged skin.
Avoid eye area and avoid contact with eyes.
Contact of the product with the skin should be limited in frequency or duration.
If irritation occurs, rinse, discontinue use and consult a physician.
Use only as directed on intact skin.
It is recommended to perform a patch test before use.
